L&C Representative Team
The L&C established a representative team in the early years of its existence, and it has been embedded in the DNA of the League ever since.
In those early days, leagues and county FAs enabled players to have the honour of representing their league or area in a number of competitions, pitting the best players against each other in a series of showpiece fixtures.

Whilst the concept has largely gone out of fashion, the Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur League has maintained the tradition of playing an annual Challenge Match with our friends from the Lancashire Amateur League, with the John Howard Trophy up for grabs.

Rob O'Connor (pictured left with League Chairman Mike Yates) is our current Rep Team manager and secured victory in last season's fixture with the LAL.
With an encyclopaedic knowledge of the L&C, Rob is passionate about achieving further success, hopefully in the FA Inter League Cup which the League is hoping to rejoin.
All players registered in the L&C are eligible for selection.
It is expected that all clubs support Rob in his role, and he welcomes contact from managers recommending players.
Rob manages Bedians, so relies upon feedback and recommendations, especially from teams outside the Premier Division.
