Want to Referee in the L&C?
The Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur Football League are welcoming inexperienced and experienced Referees interested in officiating regularly or occasionally, to join our team of Match Officials.
Match Officials are now able to register for 2025-26 season at the new FA Portal via http://refereeregistration.thefa.com/.
The L&C will be implementing Centre Circle for our appointments for the coming season as we look to streamline and simplify the process for match officials and clubs. Full support will be available and we will be testing the system in pre-season.
We are an Adult Open-Age Men’s League, with games normally played on a Saturday afternoon, in the Greater Manchester and East Cheshire regions, with a standard kick off time of 2.00pm.
We have six Divisions this season, of varying standards, and are again anticipating them all being competitive.
Over the past two seasons, we have had a number of officials who have operated in the League, who have gained promotion in the FA Pathway. We also have a Support Team who work closely the local RDOs, to offer guidance to Match Officials.
The League operates a firm Cooling Off Policy for all Participants for use by match officials.
