Vics and Signol Get Their Rewards

Updated: 7 days ago

Premier Division Champions Salford Vics and Division B winners Signol Athletic were both presented with their respective trophies as reward for their superb seasons.

Both put on a show too, displaying the qualities that have seen both sides surge to title wins in which they have dropped just five points all season.

Vics took on Village Manchester and the party atmosphere was reflected in the 6-2 thumping they dished out, led by a Joe Axon hat-trick along with strikes from Sam Birkett, Myles Jevons and Josh Lawman.

Signol celebrated their title success with a 5-0 victory with Village Manchester again the unfortunate recipients – this time, their Third team. Athletic were two goals to the good at the break thanks to Jake Ainscough’s brace and Benjamin Parry netted two of his own in the second half before Adam Buckley capped a perfect display in the 90th minute.
