Bedians edged out in Mushy Cup curtain-raiser
Burnley United reclaimed the McKeown Cup for the LAL with a 3-1 win over Bedians in a close game played in hot and dry conditions in East Lancashire. Divisional Structure for 2026-27 released
The draft divisional structure for 2026-27 season has now been prepared and details can be found below. The LMC will monitor pre-season fixtures and liaise with clubs over the next four weeks and adjust accordingly to ensure that all divisions are competitive. There are six divisions, which will be a minimum of twelve teams and a maximum of fourteen teams. The season starts for all divisions on Saturday 5th September 2026. Cavaliers - all further fixtures cancelled
The League Management Committee has decided to remove Cavaliers from fixtures for the remainder of the season, and their record will be expunged from the record as they had not completed 90% of their fixtures.
