Awards handed out at Presentation Celebration

The Lancashire and Cheshire AFL completed another busy season with its awards presentation afternoon hosted at the friendly venue of South West Manchester CC In Chorlton.
Representatives from trophy-winning clubs and special award winners enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with excellent refreshments and plenty of banter and camerarderie.
Presenting the trophies and other prizes was L and C President Rob O’Connor (Bedians) who also received a special, award of an engraved tankard from L and C Chairman Mike Yates to thank him for his services.
The divisional trophies were won by:
Rushford Park (Premier division)
East Manchester Galaxy (Division One)
Moorside (Division Two)
Waterhead (Division Three)
Signol Athletic (Division A)
Oldham Hulmeians reserves (Division B).
The Cup winners were:
Rushford Park (Rhodes Cup)
Saddleworth 3D (Wray Cup)
Signol Athletic (Whitehead Cup)
Oldham Hulmeians (Geoff Garnett Cup)
Signol Athletic(Keith Marsden Cup)
Rushford Park (Aggregate Cup)
Trafford United (Fair Play Trophy)
(John Howard Inter League Trophy) L and C team, (McKeown Cup for top teams in the L and C and the LAL) Bedians FC.
Emma Miller (AFC Stockport)) won the Secretary of the Year Award
Bradley Williams was Referee of the Year and Daniel Matson was Young Referee of the Year.

Division One Kalem Humphries (Oldham Hulmeians)
Division two Zac Barton (Saddleworth 3D)
Division Three Damien Cottier (Moston Brook thirds)

Division B Matt Theaker (Stoconians reserves).

The league is currently interviewing a number of teams who have applied to join the L and C next season.
