Invitational Cups launched for New Year

In an effort to keep as many of our teams playing throughout the second half of the season as possible, the L&C has organised two new invitational knock-out cup competitions to run to the end of the season.

Restricted to teams with eleven or less league fixtures to play, and at least six free home slots, the draws have been made and the inaugural competitions have been named in honour of our two longest-serving committee members, Geoff Garnett and Keith Marsden.

The Geoff Garnett Invitational is for Premier Division, Division One and Division Two teams, with the Keith Marsden Invitational for Division Three, Division A and Division B teams.

The ties will be slotted in where space permits, and both competitions are subject to our standard cup rules.
