Grass Pitches were wiped out for play due the heavy rain from Storm Claudia but thanks to some good organisation several teams were able to switch their fixtures to get their games played.
In the latest round of the Lancashire Amateur Cup the league’s hopes now rest with Moston Brook Reserves who enjoyed a comfortable 5-1 win over Southport and Ainsdale.
Going out were Oldham Hulmeians losing 3-0 at Chaddertonians and Rochdalians whose run in the cup ended in a 4-0 defeat at Little Lever.
Premier Division leaders Bollington United were without game but there was a crucial clash between AFC Oldham and Bedians who were looking to close the gap on Bollington.
AFC Oldham edged a close contest 2-1 and maintained their 100% record which moved them to within three points of Bollington with two games in hand to set up a key clash between the two teams this coming weekend.
The other game in the division saw Richmond Rovers enjoy their best display of the season with superb 4-1 win over high-flying Manchester Rose.

There was a full programme in the very competitive Division One and there was an excellent game between Village Manchester and East Manchester Galaxy which was an end-to-end contest for 90 minutes in which the sides shared eight goals.
Village led 3-2 at the break with a remarkable 50-yard header putting them 3-1 ahead after 30 minutes.
EMG showed their resilience in the second half to see them pick up a point with a 4-4 draw which takes them a point clear of Oldham Hulmeians.
New team Grappenhall Sports pulled off their second win of the season with a 4-0 win at Santos and they were quick to express their appreciation to the league for their encouragement and support during a difficult start to their new life in the L&C.
AFC Stockport were too hot for Withington Wanderers with some clinical finishing taking them to a 6-0 win which did not reflect the great effort put in by Withington.
Didsbury FC won 4-2 at Stretford Paddock Ams and with plenty of games in hand should soon climb the table.
In Division Two South Manchester lifted themselves out of the bottom two with comfortable 3-0 win at Old Alts Thirds.
Heywood St James Reserves closed the gap on leaders Manchester Rovers to three points with two games in hand thanks to a 2-1 win at Bury Ams.
Old StretsGregs moved on to the heels of the leading group with a gritty 2-1 win at Tintwistle Athletic Reserves.
Just one game in Division Three was played and it was enjoyed by Manchester Saints as they lifted themselves from the foot of the table with a breathless 5-4 win over Altrincham Hale Thirds.

Plenty of action in Division A with AFC Salford moving to within a point of non-playing leaders Signol Athletic after an impressive 5-2 win over Newton Vikings.
Cheadle and Gatley moved into third place with a 4-2 at Heyside.
They had to work hard after leading 4-0 at the break as Heysde came out with all guns blazing in the second half to put them under pressure.
Silver Birch kept up their impressive recent run with their sixth successive win, a close 2-1 scoreline over AFC Stockport Titans.
The other game in the division was also tight as Urmston Meadowside and Village Manchester Reserves were locked at 1-1.
Action in Division B saw leaders Stoconians Reserves edge a thriller at Richmond Rovers reserves by 4-3 to move eight points clear at the top.
Oldham Hulmeians Reserves are in second spot after a 5-1 cruise at Moston Brook Fourths and have four games in hand over the leaders.
The other game saw AFC Oldham A and Bury Ams B share four goals.
