L&C teams were involved in County Cup action and a thriller at Rochdalians in the Lancashire Amateur Cup  saw the home team edge out Stoneclough Reserves on penalties. In the Lancashire Amateur Cup, Oldham Hulmeians crushed AFC Wigan 10-3 and Rochdalians continued their proud record in the competition by battling past Halshaw Moor A 2-1. Moston Brook Reserves joined that duo in the next round after edging a 2-1 win at Storeys of Lancaster Reserves.
